My next challenge will be to the Nebraska Monument Marathon Comeback Run! The race starts takes place in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on 9/26/20. I will be running in support of the Panhandle Humane Society Animal Rescue Organization that rescues dogs and cats in the Scottsbluff area and places these pets in foster and adoptive homes
Marathon Animal Rescue was founded by marathon runner and rescue animal lover, Richard Albanese, in 2014. Richard resides in Northern Illinois where Marathon Animal Rescue is based. Richard has a goal of completing a marathon race in each of the 50 States. The mission of Marathon Animal Rescue is to raise awareness and provide financial support to certified no-kill, non-profit animal rescue shelters in each of the 50 United States on a one time basis when each marathon is completed. Marathon Animal Rescue is a IRS approved 501(c)(3) charity meaning all donations are tax deductible.
